This week the Dassault Falcon 7X flew four demonstration flights at the world-famous 52nd annual Reno Air Races (officially known as the National Championship Air Races) in beautiful Reno, Nevada at the Reno-Stead airport where the company has established a factory owned service center a few years ago.
The multi-day event — first started in 1964 — is the only show of its kind in the world, attracting some of aviation’s most talented pilots and showcasing some of the most specatcular aircraft. The Falcon 7X demonstrations captured spectators’ attention with dynamic high speed passes that demonstrated the aircraft’s superior agility, maneuverability and wide flight envelope. The Races had an estimated attendance of over 200,000 people.
Certified in 2007, the Falcon 7X is the first business jet designed entirely in the digital realm and is also the first to feature a full digital flight control system. There are nearly 250 Falcon 7X in service in 41 countries, which have logged more than 350,000 combined flight hours. Falcons are known for their robust structural design, unparalleled flying qualities, spacious and quiet cabins. They share many technological innovations with their fighter sibling the Rafale, which is designed by Dassault Aviation, and is manufactured on the same assembly lines.
