BENGALURU, India (Feb. 18, 2015) – Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, announced today it is showcasing its special missions and commercial capabilities at Aero India’s biennial event in Bengaluru this week. Exhibiting with sister companies, Bell Helicopter and Textron Systems, the company is displaying a special missions-configured Beechcraft King Air 350ER from Feb. 18-22 at the Yelahanka Air Force.
“We are seeing increased demand from clients across the globe for aircraft that provide flexibility of use, and this is particularly the case in India where there often is a wide range of mission profiles for a single operator,” said Bill Harris, vice president, of sales in the region. “Having a broad product lineup spanning jets, turboprops and pistons allows us to meet our customers’ needs for adaptable aircraft solutions.”
Textron Aviation has recorded more than 150 jet and turboprop deliveries into the diverse operating environment of India and has an unrivaled product support network across the region to support operators.

About the King Air 350ER
The King Air 350ER twin turboprop is an extended-range (ER) airplane, which includes additional fuel capacity and increased capability landing gear allowing for a 2,500 nautical mile range and take-off weight of 16,500 lbs. The demonstrator aircraft that is on display at Aero India has a unique interior configuration that highlights the versatility and utility of the King Air family of aircraft with a forward club seating arrangement with four VIP chairs and two writing/work tables, and in the aft cabin is a fully functioning medical station complete with medical oxygen, vacuum and pressure, a medical cabinet and a side-facing, three-place couch for doctor/medical attendants.
The King Air series is one of the best-selling business aircraft families in the world. Since 1964, the company has delivered more than 7,200 King Airs with the worldwide fleet having surpassed 60 million flight hours. King Airs serve a variety of missions ranging from traditional transport of personnel and high-value cargo, to electronic and imagery surveillance, air ambulance, airway calibration, photographic mapping, training and weather modification.
