The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) is pleased to announce a record-breaking number of abstract submissions for the 69th International Astronautical Congress to be held in Bremen, Germany from 1 to 5 October 2018. Almost 4,300 abstracts were submitted, surpassing abstract submissions for IAC 2017 in Adelaide by almost 900 and beating the previous record of IAC 2013 in Beijing by more than 15%. Furthermore, a record number of countries represented is also to be recognized: abstracts have been submitted from 90 countries.
About 500 experts from the International Programme Committee will be reviewing the submissions during the IAF Spring Meetings to be held in Paris from 27 to 29 March 2018. Authors will be informed about acceptance by 25 April and all accepted abstracts will be available on the IAF website.
