(November 28, 2016, ITSEC 2016 booth 2328) Esterline Simulation Visual Systems, a business of Esterline Corporation, has been awarded a follow-on contract by CAE USA to provide glass-mirror collimated display systems for the U.S. Navy MH-60 Technical Refresh and Procurement of Simulators (TRPS) Program.
The total program includes nineteen TREALITY® solid mirror, collimated display (CD) systems that will be installed over a four-year period. Each display system includes support structures, light tightening enclosures, collimating optics, projectors, a projector control system, and an automatic alignment system.
Esterline’s line of TREALITY® collimated displays was designed using its SimCAD software tool, which is recognized as the industry’s most capable and reliable collimated display design tool. SimCAD is optimized for both film and glass-mirror collimator display design.
