Airbus completed 49 deliveries during February from across its single-aisle and widebody product lines, including five A350-900s – bringing to 70 the total number of A350 XWB jetliners received by international customers as of the month’s end.
In addition to the A350-900s provided during February, Airbus delivered 39 A320 Family aircraft (of which 12 were the A320neo New Engine Option versions), along with four A330s and one A380.
With no new orders booked in February, and cancellations registered for 10 jetliners, Airbus’ net order status was a negative eight aircraft at 2017’s two-month mark
The grand total of orders logged by Airbus since its creation stood at 17,074 as of 28 February, with a backlog of 6,792 jetliners to be delivered. This is equivalent to approximately 10 years of production.
