MONTREAL, CANADA–(Marketwired – March 25, 2015) – (NYSE:CAE)(TSX:CAE) – CAE today announced that it has sold five full-flight simulators (FFSs) and simulator update services to customers in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. The contracts include:
— One Bombardier Q400 simulator to Westjet Encore
— One Aircraft Industries L 410 turboprop simulator to the Czech Aviation
Training Centre (CATC)
— One Boeing 737NG simulator to a customer in Africa
— One Boeing 777 simulator to an undisclosed airline in Africa
— One Boeing 737NG simulator for an undisclosed airline in Asia
The contracts are worth a total of more than C$70 million at list prices, and bring the total number of FFS sales announced year to date in fiscal year 2015 to 36. List prices include the value of OEM aircraft-specific data, parts and equipment (DP&E), normally procured by CAE in the manufacture of its simulators. In the case of these contracts, some customers are providing part of the OEM content.

WestJet Encore
WestJet Encore has ordered a Bombardier Q400 full-flight simulator which will be delivered to the airline’s training centre in Calgary, Canada, in March 2016. The CAE 5000 Series FFS will be equipped with the CAE Tropos-6000XR visual system with LED projectors and will be used to train pilots of the regional airline. WestJet has been a CAE customer since 2000 and already operates three CAE simulators.
Czech Aviation Training Centre (CATC)
The Czech Aviation Training Centre (CATC) located in Prague, the Czech Republic, has ordered the world’s first Level D full-flight simulator for Aircraft Industries’ L 410 turboprop. The CAE 7000 Series simulator will be delivered to the training centre and will be ready for training in the middle of 2016. CAE has a long-term cooperation agreement with Czech Airlines and offers Airbus A320, Boeing 737NG and Boeing 737 Classic training at the centre in cooperation with CATC.
