Global Training Aviation, announced today that their new ATR 72-600 Level D Full Flight Simulator (FFS), provided by TRU Simulation + Training, is expected to be ready for training on November 15, 2017. The FFS will be located on the premises of GTA, in Madrid (SPAIN), and along with the existing ATR 72-500 simulator it will complement the training on this aircraft type.
This state-of-the-art FFS will become the 4th Level D FFS (Two ATR FFS Level D, and two A320 FFS Level D, one located in Madrid and the other one in the GTA Simulator Center in Jakarta, Indonesia).
GTA is supported by the major European ATR operators and brings substantial experience in the operation of the aforementioned ATR 72-500 simulator, which allows huge success in this new and ambitious project. This simulator will meet the growing demand of training for this aircraft type, which is one of the most successful in the regional aviation market.
