H135 and H130 air medical transport helicopters at AMTC
GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Dec. 9, 2016) – Industry leader Airbus Helicopters Inc. will exhibit the most efficient helicopters for air medical transport solutions at the Air Medical Transport Conference, Tuesday, Dec. 13 through Wednesday, Dec. 15 at the Charlotte Convention Center, Charlotte, N.C.
On display for close-up inspection by air medical transport operators will be an H135-series aircraft operated by STAT MedEvac, a western Pennsylvania provider of emergency medical service and inter-hospital patient transports. The STAT MedEvac aircraft is a recent, upgraded version of the industry’s best-selling and most cost efficient twin-engine family of helicopters.
Also at the Airbus Helicopters Inc. exhibit will be an H130 high-performance single-engine helicopter operated by JeffSTAT, the medical transportation service affiliated with the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. The H130, which features a much larger cabin than competing single-engine helicopters, is quickly becoming a popular choice for air medical operators looking for an aircraft that allows for high-quality critical care of complex critically ill and injured patients while providing high reliability and lower operating costs.
With the industry’s broadest product line, Airbus Helicopters has delivered nearly two out of every three new helicopters put into air medical transport service in North America in the last decade and is the market leader in both single-engine and twin-engine aircraft. The Airbus Helicopters air medical helicopter product line includes the newest H125 and H130 series single-engine models, the latest H135 and H145 series light twin-engine models, as well as the H155 and AS365 N3+ medium twins.
“Airbus Helicopters continues to offer the industry’s most reliable and cost effective helicopters that set the standard for accommodating medical staff and equipment necessary for providing high-quality patient care,” said Jennifer Hardcastle, Air Medical Services Sales Manager for Airbus Helicopters Inc. “Our ongoing efforts to improve the environment aboard the helicopter for the medical crew and patient, as well as to improve safety, reliability, and lower operating costs, have made Airbus Helicopters products the benchmarks for the U.S. and North American markets.”
Hardcastle and other Airbus Helicopters Inc. subject matter experts will be on hand to meet with air medical transport operators and explain features of the aircraft on display at AMTC Booth #401.
