VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Canada – October 31, 2016 – TrainingPort.net announces a comprehensive online training program for cabin attendants working on private and commercially operated business aircraft.
“New Heights was developed with the experts at Sterling Aviation Services Inc. which specializes in providing high-end cabin attendants to private and commercial business aircraft operators worldwide,” says Scott Macpherson, President of TrainingPort.net. “Sterling’s training department regularly trains cabin attendants for business aircraft operators in addition to its own contractors.”
New Heights includes lessons on policies and procedures, theory of flight, emergency equipment, and emergency situations including evacuation procedures, to name a few.
“We are very pleased to work with TrainingPort.net’s team to produce a program that can be used for initial and recurrent cabin attendant training,” says Jacqueline Bailey, Director Inflight, Sterling Aviation Services Inc. “They helped us divide the program into 26 online lessons that cover all the essential subjects.”
Sterling Aviation contracts more than 50 corporate cabin attendants. Each individual is hand selected and professionally trained in safety procedures and executive inflight service.
New Heights can be taken as a standalone training program or in combination with other TrainingPort.net topics, like Safety Management Systems, Human factors, Occupational Health and Safety, and others.
Cabin attendant training has become necessary for business aircraft operated privately and commercially.
New Heights was designed to meet a number of international standards for cabin attendants and flight attendants including Federal Aviation Administration FAR Part 91 and Part 135, Transport Canada CAR604 and CAR704, European Aviation Safety Agency Part NCC, and the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO).
Following completion of the online training program, trainees can receive additional hands-on training from Sterling Aviation Services Inc. to ensure they are fully prepared to provide the highest caliber of inflight service.
