“The Asia-Pacific region is home to one of our largest customer bases, and we continue to strengthen our footprint through additional investment and resources,” said Scott Ernest, president and CEO of Textron Aviation. “Recognizing each unique mission need in the APAC region, the company is pleased to offer a robust and capable product portfolio, including its innovative additions under development, the Citation Longitude, Cessna Denali and Cessna SkyCourier.”
Leading the Asia-Pacific Market
Textron Aviation continues to showcase its presence in the APAC market with nearly 1,500 of its aircraft operating in the region. Making its regional debut, the Citation Longitude will empower passengers to make the most of their long-range trips with the quietest cabin in its class that is also punctuated by an array of luxurious amenities. With fully berthable seats and an in-flight accessible walk-in baggage compartment, the Longitude is designed specifically for maximum passenger comfort and offers the lowest cabin altitude in its category at 5,950 ft. The aircraft also adds a full fuel payload of 1,600 lbs, a maximum cruise speed of 476 knots, and a four-passenger high-speed range of 3,500 nm and best-in-class ownership costs.
Also on display representing the company’s midsize business jets is the best-selling Citation Latitude jet, which has experienced exceptional market acceptance since entering into service just two years ago and continues to prove itself as a highly capable special mission platform.
For the first time at the Singapore Airshow, Textron Aviation will display a Cessna Citation Sovereign+ from the company’s Pre-owned Direct inventory. Customers have access to a single point of contact for all aspects of aircraft purchase and ownership through Pre-Owned Direct and its expert OEM support. As the industry leader in pre-owned aircraft deliveries, Textron Aviation offers everything from financial solutions, aftermarket solutions and aircraft upgrades to aircraft trade-in and Market Assist, a program designed to allow customers to leverage the company’s global sales team to sell their aircraft quickly and hassle-free. The company is bringing a dedicated pre-owned sales focus to support local APAC operations this year.
The company also continues to lead the turboprop segment with more than 1000 turboprops in the APAC region. The Beechcraft King Air 350i and Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft on display offer unmatched performance and flexibility to meet a variety of business and special mission needs. The turboprops under development, the Cessna Denali and recently announced Cessna SkyCourier, are also expected to add value to the APAC market with their versatile and rugged capabilities designed to support both commercial and special missions in the region.
Continuing commitment to customer support
Textron Aviation equips customers with a broad spectrum of service and support throughout the full ownership experience across its entire product range. Within the Asia Pacific region, Textron Aviation customers are supported by a team of dedicated field service engineers and have access to factory-direct service and support at the company’s Singapore Service Center, which is also home to the company’s parts distribution hub serving the region.
